Volusia Forever Committee

The Volusia Forever Advisory Committee is a group of nine local citizens who meet to discuss and provide direction of County staff and the County Council on acquisition issues related to the Volusia Forever Program. The group was created in April 2001 by Resolution. Resolution 2007-79 outlines the purpose of the Committee.

Committee Duties

To aid in furthering development of the Volusia Forever land acquisition program by providing assistance to County staff on potential acquisitions:
- By reviewing and ranking properties under consideration.
- By making formal recommendations to the County Council.
