Overview

Pursuant to Resolution 2007, the ECHO Advisory Committee was established for the purpose of reviewing and recommending to the County Council, applications from not-for-profit organizations, municipalities, and budgeted County departments for grants-in-aid. There are 9 members on the Board, each of which has been nominated by a member of the County Council (at-large Council member and the County Chair nominate 2 members each) and are approved by a majority vote of the entire Council. Committee members must be registered electors in the County of Volusia and may serve for four consecutive 2-year terms at the pleasure of the County Council. Terms expire on March 31 of odd numbered years.
