On November 7, 2000, Volusia
County residents approved two funding initiatives created to advance
our quality of life; Volusia Forever and Volusia ECHO.
The following ECHO projects were recommended by the ECHO Advisory
Board for grant awards and were approved by the County Council on
March 15, 2007.
Total funds awarded: $5,590,688*.
Included an Exceptional Grant to Daytona Beach Community College for
the South East Museum of Photography – Mori Hosseini Center.
*Does not include annual
$1,000,000 allocation for trails of the County's Trails Master Plan
approved by the County Council June 3, 2004. |
